Sorry been so long in replying forgot to say in my original post to play barre chords through the chorus..Yeah mate i could send you some chords for those songs you asked about.. Younger Days is still one of my faves to play.. The start is a barre chord A on the 5th fret with the B and E string played open.. Same shape chord to G then the little bass bit from F# to G then that chord again on F..Then into Emin then A..Message me for more details as I dont have the time to write tabs. cheers

I was relived after buying this from Mark. So many years of wanting to hear it again since the vinyl days. This song takes me back. What a wonderful and beautiful song.
Hey man the chords are A Em then the bit you are asking about is a D. The chorus is C7,B7, Amin7 D9. Resolves into Emin then D. The high E string is tuned to D. The D tuned string is played in every chord. That's what gives it that haunting sound. Brilliant song. Hope this helps, if you want any other Matt Finish songs let me know.
@katanamick - close - you tune the high E down to D, then play your A major and E minor. Trust me :-)
I just love this band, they were so much a part of my teen years in the 80's. Short Note was so meaningful to me and my first love. I can't believe I didn't know Matt passed away, just found out :( I am shocked. I read he died in his sleep from a stroke? So young, oh so young. Such an amazing and creative person taken too soon. LIke all of them....
