Review by Robert Hatch

The album "The Musings Of Miles Miles Davis And Milt Jackson" by Miles Davis, Milt Jackson Quintet Sextet is a true masterpiece of jazz music. Released in 1956, this album features the legendary Miles Davis and the vibraphonist Milt Jackson, along with a talented group of musicians.

The album's opening track, "Dr. Jackle," sets the tone for what's to come with its lively tempo and intricate solos. The album also features classic jazz standards like "Bags' Groove" and "The Man I Love," as well as original compositions by Davis and Jackson.

The musicianship on this album is simply outstanding. Davis' trumpet playing is as dynamic and emotive as ever, while Jackson's vibraphone adds a unique texture to the music. The rhythm section, featuring pianist Horace Silver, bassist Percy Heath, and drummer Kenny Clarke, provides a solid foundation for the soloists to build upon.
