Wolgemut's latest album, Momento, is a captivating and lively collection of medieval and folk-inspired music. The album features a mix of traditional songs and original compositions, all expertly performed by the talented musicians of the band.
From the first track, "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen," listeners are transported to a bygone era with intricate melodies and harmonies that evoke images of medieval castles and bustling marketplaces. The use of authentic instruments, such as the hurdy-gurdy and bagpipes, adds to the authenticity of the music.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Der Mond ist aufgegangen," a hauntingly beautiful rendition of the classic German folk song. The band's use of layered vocals and delicate instrumentation creates a mesmerizing and ethereal atmosphere.
