Unleashed's album, Warrior, is a hard-hitting and intense piece of work that is sure to please any metal fan. The album is filled with pounding drums, heavy guitar riffs, and fierce vocals that will leave the listener feeling energized and empowered.

Swedish Death Metallers Unleashed was formed in 1989 by Johnny Hedlund (vocals, bass) and Robert Sennebäck (vocals, guitar). Sennebäck soon left the following year and then Fredrik "Fredda" Lindgren (guitar), Anders Schultz (drums) and Tomas Olsson (guitar) joined the band and then they recorded the demos, "Utter Dark" and "Revenge

Warrior is a fantastic addition to Unleashed's already impressive discography. It's a must-listen for any metal fan looking for an album that is both heavy and inspiring.

For all their whole existence, Swedish Death Metal band Unleashed have always tried to show how is miserable their scene can be by offering the same three songs over and over going so far to give nausea. Even compared to their American counterpart Obituary, Unleashed sound fairly simplistic and worse. Their albums are brief off-shots of countless variations of the same B tuned patch of riffs with three or four rhythmic patterns. Definitely a hardcore metal band.If anything, their fifth album Warrior, while hardly definable a masterpiece, represents at best the band's overall limited influences through and through, thus functioning as the band's definitive album. There's barely any difference on this and other albums of the band: Unleashed once again deliver Punk Rock (sometimes thrashing, sometimes slow, mostly mid-paced) detuned and shouted to the point of appealing thirteen year-olds all over the world who discover casually their profile on Wikipedia. Anyone else would have already left them right after their first album. And if it wasn't enough, Johnny Edlund still continues to write the same pseudo-Medieval/Viking "eulogies" which tend to highlight honor, friendship, warfare. and anti-technology ("Just another face / On the TV screen / What a sad excuse / For a human being"), politics ("Born deranged our price to pay / For the European union's aim / To lead the market's hall of shame / Face the fact: it's just a part / Of United States of Europe's start / This little gift from Jacques Chirac") and full-fledged misogyny ("Said you spoke to god / But sperm was all you got / When you sucked your way / Right up to the top"). It's very hard to agree with most of the singer's views.Ultimately, you won't find a better Unleashed album there. This band has always been mediocre, but beyond the mere replicas of the band's work we find some hooks worth multiple listens, be in the shortest track or on the instrumental interlude "Longt nid". Also, speaking of variety, this album has plenty, compared to the band's standard canon. Have a nice fight.Highlights: "War Machine", "In Hellfire", "Ragnarok".

This band doesnt deserve to call itself death metal. This sounds like show no mercy era slayer if they couldnt write a proper song or a riff

Wow thats really not good.
Sounds like a 90s demotape from some 'evil' teenager with no direction yet...especially the vocals...which they prpbably were back then.

But if it comes to Death Metal I am grateful to could listen instead to some awesome Cannibal Corpse!
