Review by Fabio Ortiz Jr

Pasteur Lappé's album We The People is a must-listen for any fan of Afro-funk and disco music. The Cameroonian musician's infectious rhythms and grooves are sure to get your feet moving and your body swaying.

The album opens with the upbeat and funky "More Sekele Movement (Papa Ni Mama)", which sets the tone for the rest of the record. From there, Pasteur Lappé takes listeners on a musical journey through a variety of styles, from the soulful "As Far I Can Remember" to the disco-infused "Na Real Seke Fonk".

Throughout the album, Pasteur Lappé's smooth vocals and skillful instrumentation shine, backed by a talented group of musicians who bring his vision to life. The songs are catchy and danceable, but also carry a message of unity and empowerment, as seen in tracks like "The Sekele Movement" and "We The People".
