An Alignment Of Dead Stars, the latest offering from black metal outfit Drowning The Light, is a haunting and atmospheric journey through the depths of darkness. The album is a true masterpiece of the genre, with its raw, aggressive sound and haunting melodies that will transport listeners to a world of despair and desolation.
The album opens with the eerie track "The Crown of Ravens", which sets the tone for what's to come. The haunting guitars and ominous synths create a sense of impending doom that is carried throughout the entire album. The vocals are raw and guttural, adding to the overall feeling of despair and hopelessness.
As the album progresses, tracks like "The Ghosts of the Ruined Fortresses" and "The Abyssic Depths" showcase the band's ability to create dark and atmospheric soundscapes. The use of ambient sounds and haunting melodies create an immersive experience that draws the listener deeper into the abyss.
