Comments
Christina Aguilera/Cher - Burlesque (RCA)Eight songs by Christine and two by Cher, this is a sampling of songs from the movie. Both divas are in excellent form as they make their way through 1950s rock and roll, rhythm and blues, cabaret songs and Vegas styled over-the-toppers, but the CD is very trapped in the style of the film, but it does provide a wonderful means for the incredible pipes and emotive delivers by the now-divine Ms. Aguilera, whose singing is simply amazing. So-so songs but great performances.(4 stars out of 5)MC Mahan
