Pat-Rue Taylor singing the best there is and was my friend. I named my second son Pat-Rue Salts my first son was named England -Dan Salts he got killed in a diving accident in 2012. It appears that this song is a cover of an unreleased acetate by "Jimmy Day & The Knights" (1966) unless there's an even earlier version. The Village Sounds single is dating back to 1968. Both from the Memphis area so there's clearly some relation.

Just listened to Art Gentry, another brilliant dancer, if not as good as village sounds its not far behind. i find it dificult to choose between them. First time i've heard Art Gentry.
