The album "Woman Jazz" by Various is a wonderful collection of tracks that showcase the talent and creativity of some of the best female jazz artists. From the smooth and sultry vocals of Billie Holiday to the energetic and upbeat rhythms of Ella Fitzgerald, this album has something for everyone.

One standout track is "God Bless the Child" by Billie Holiday, which features her signature soulful voice and emotional delivery. Another highlight is "Take the 'A' Train" by Ella Fitzgerald, which showcases her impressive scatting skills and playful style.

thank you Mari
Can somebody translate the lyrics? I like listening this song since I first heard even though I have no idea about what she's literally saying.
All humans (and all life) are related to each other and the planet. Even a potato has chromosomes. Perhaps life is related to extraterrestrials. Why should not the sound humans produce and hear be related ? It all depends how far down the rabbit hole you are willing to go. Some people have trained their mind to stay superficial. Many are willing to explore. Don’t judge and let the differences continue.
Soul touching..its like a dejavu or something.. some people might say its like having a vision of your own self in your previous lifes, i say its something beyond what we think it is. AHOO EAGLE BROTHER!!!
Optimal union.
Wow! MAGICAL ...
Geweldigggg!!!
Même commentaire au sujet de la voix de Mari Boine: ellem'enchante: elle"sent tellement bon la nature sauvage, Merci.
@Cosmikh0bo i love tibetan and mongolian folk songs - after listening to sami music - i feel they send out a similar message telling their life and their beautiful land. I feel their passion for their land through their music.
one word: FABULOUS! (.)/
I've been thinking alot lately about the connection between Saami people and the nomadic cultures in the very central of asia (Tuvan, mongolian, Altai and so forth).

The resemblance and the "spirits" are quite close to eachother, not to mention the importance of heritage (As far as i've read and understood about them).

Also heard that some old joikhs include overtone singing before the joikh to conjure the right spirits for the song :)
Saamis and Hungarians absolutely look similar. Amazing cultures, and so much to learn!
