Trio Bravo's self-titled album Trio Bravo+ showcases the band's impressive musical prowess and ability to seamlessly blend different genres. The trio, consisting of pianist Miguelito Valdes, bassist Carlos del Puerto, and drummer Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez, have created an album that is both technically impressive and emotionally resonant.

From the opening track "Cuban Sandwich" to the closing number "Otro Nivel," Trio Bravo+ takes listeners on a musical journey that incorporates elements of jazz, Latin, and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Each member of the trio shines in their respective solos, but it is their ability to play off of one another that truly sets them apart.

The album's standout track "El Negro y El Negroso" is a masterclass in rhythm and groove, with Hernandez's drumming providing the backbone for Valdes and del Puerto's virtuosic playing. The trio's cover of "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat" is another highlight, with Valdes' delicate piano work and del Puerto's emotive bass playing adding a new dimension to Charles Mingus' classic composition.
