Pagan Altar's The Room of Shadows is a hauntingly beautiful album that takes the listener on a journey through the shadows of the human psyche. From the opening track, "Rising of the Dead," the listener is drawn into a world of dark, brooding melodies and haunting vocals. The album's title track, "The Room of Shadows," is a standout, with its slow, mournful guitar lines and plaintive vocals.
Throughout the album, Pagan Altar's musicianship is on full display, with intricate guitar work and powerful drumming. The production is also top-notch, with a rich, warm sound that perfectly suits the band's music.

About Pagan Altar
Long-lost NWOBHM band with heavy doom influences fronted by father and son Terry (vocals) and Alan Jones (guitar). Formed in 1978, they managed to release a self-titled demo in 1982. The group developed a cult following in the following years but it wasn't until 1998 that they released their first CD. Their later releases feature re-recordings of songs originally written and recorded (but not released) by the band in the late '70s and early '80s.
