Car Wash is an iconic album by the legendary songwriter, producer, and arranger Norman Whitfield. Released in 1976, the album features the soundtrack of the hit movie Car Wash, which was directed by Michael Schultz and starred Richard Pryor.
The album consists of ten tracks, all of which are funky, upbeat, and soulful. It features the title track "Car Wash," which became a massive hit and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song is an infectious disco anthem with a catchy chorus and a groovy bassline that will make you want to dance.
