Meat Loaf's album "You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth" is a classic rock masterpiece that has stood the test of time. Released in 1977, the album features some of Meat Loaf's most iconic songs, including "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" and "Paradise by the Dashboard Light".

The album showcases Meat Loaf's signature sound, which is characterized by his powerful voice and theatrical style. The songs are epic in scope, with sweeping melodies and bombastic arrangements that are sure to get your blood pumping.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Paradise by the Dashboard Light", a duet with singer Ellen Foley that tells the story of a couple making love in a car. The song is over 8 minutes long and features a spoken-word section that has become a classic rock staple.

Another standout track is "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad", a ballad that showcases Meat Loaf's softer side. The song is a heartbreaking ode to a failed relationship, and is sure to resonate with anyone who has ever been in love.

Want rock'n'roll distilled into 5 minutes and 16 seconds?

Look. No. Further!
I grew up on his music
The first time i saw Meatloaf was on the Midnight Special with Wolfman Jack in the 70's and was totally amazed by him he was a force of nature R.I.P Meatloaf
This song may be equaled by another singer but never made better.
I was 16 at a school prom and dance on this one and Paradise by....What a memory
Music before fake, auto-tuning garbage today
This was my favorite song when I was Preschool/Kindergarten years old. RIP Meat!
not sure how i feel about the discord kitten roleplay at the beginning, but man this song is just fucking amazing as usual
To me, meatloaf is the greatest of all time. I’m 29 but was lucky enough to see him in 2013, it may have been at the end of his career but I will forever cherish the fact I got to see him live. I will play this to my future children and grandchildren and meat loaf’s music will live forever ❤️
wow, 1 year since we lost the big guy, the best interpreter of Jim Steinman's work ever - I saw Rocky Horror in '75 and couldn't get over the guy who played Eddie recognising something special about the guy and then bang, 1977 rolls round and Bat Out of Hell sells mega millions and songs like this become radio mainstays! God bless you Meat, you're one of the greatest!
I can remember when Bat Out of Hell was the third highest selling album of all time behind only Michael Jackson's Thriller and Bad. One of the networks challenged Bob Costas and Larry King , who were both blindfolded, to try and solve the identity of Meatloaf as a mystery guest , like an episode of the old show What's My Line. Both were given about 10 questions each and neither one of them could figure out who he was. After it was over Larry King admitted he had never even heard of him and wouldn't have figured his identity out even if he had able to ask him 100 questions. He was once in a lifetime phenomenon as a singer and entertainer .
I'm here in 2023 missing meatloaf. I hope he is resting peacefully.
One year ?

The facial expressions of his co-singer are delightful beyond verbal expression.
