- Recorded at Pier House Studios, Edinburgh, in December '83 and January '84.
- Sleeve note by Ian:
- Instrumentally Nick played whistles, mandolin, synthesizer, banjo, concertina, 12 string citer, blues harp and guitar.
- Derek played guitar, bodhran plus mandolin.
- Ian talked a lot about playing all the instruments but in the end preferred a good album.
