Review by Leandi Kruger

Happiness Boys' latest album, Meat Parade, is a wild ride through the band's unique blend of punk, rock, and pop. The album features ten tracks that showcase the band's raw energy and catchy hooks, making it a must-listen for fans of the genre.

The album opens with "Meat Parade," a high-energy track that sets the tone for the rest of the record. The song is driven by a pounding drumbeat and distorted guitar riffs, with lead singer John's vocals soaring over the top. The album continues with tracks like "Waste of Time" and "Dead Weight," which showcase the band's punk influences and knack for writing catchy, anthemic choruses.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Kings of the World," a mid-tempo rocker that features a killer guitar riff and a memorable chorus. The song shows off the band's more melodic side, while still maintaining their trademark edge and attitude.

I have not had the opportunity to listen to this in 31 years. Thanks.

thanks
I remember Slap as being very intense andself defined. Every drop wrung out of drum machine. it was 2 akais i sort of remember. I keep expecting a Slap/Happiness Boys rediscovery to take place.
I'd love to hear Slap again, please upload some if you've still got it.

Edward Bobb is still making incredible sounds.
This is one of those rare sonic art examples of the future catching up with the past - absolutely extraordinary - if this was released 33 seconds ago, it would still sound like avant-garde experimental electronic music of the highest order, the fact that it came out 33 years ago is just almost beyond comprehension - it's lack of space-time co-ordinates to lock it in the past is very rare - it's like early Die Form, Cybe, Vox Populi, Kid Baltan, Hypnobeat, some early Piero Umiliani, EP-4 and Klaus Weiss to name but a few similar artists - the music exists outside the wheels of time. Many thanks for posting
super-fucking-obergeil. it is a club schtonker!
Thanks SO much for ripping this and posting it up.  I haven't heard it in... at least 25 years at this point.
