Gene goes from delicate and quiet with his lead vocal performance at the start of this song, and then he really dials up the power and the volume of his vocal performance as the chorus progresses! A fantastic crescendo is generated, with a resolution in the initial chorus. Then, for the final Chorus, one of the most powerful, emotionally charged, ending vocals in the history of Pop Music is performed: All hands on deck for this most complex, yet perfectly integrated, production which has a crescendo of the orchestral arrangement, lead vocals, background vocals, rhythm, and a fantastic melody line! This is an example of Great Unforgettable Music!
