Daddy Long Legs' latest album, The Stranger Rides Tonight, is a wild and infectious ride that captures the raw energy of their live shows. The New York-based trio of Brian Hurd (vocals, harmonica), Murat Akturk (guitar), and Josh Styles (drums) have crafted a collection of original songs that draw from blues, garage rock, and punk influences.

From the opening track, "Theme From Daddy Long Legs," the band sets the tone with Hurd's howling vocals, followed by Akturk's searing guitar riffs and Styles' propulsive drumming. The title track, "The Stranger Rides Tonight," is a standout with its catchy chorus and driving rhythm. "Pink Lemonade" is a fun and funky number that showcases the band's playful side.

The album also features a few covers, including a raucous rendition of "Bad Neighborhood" by The Standells and a stripped-down version of "Glad Rag Doll" by Milton Ager. Daddy Long Legs puts their own stamp on these songs, injecting them with their trademark energy and swagger.
