Brooklyn Bridge's album "Your Husband My Wife Upside Down Inside Out" is a collection of songs that are both playful and introspective. The group's unique blend of rock, pop, and folk music creates a sound that is both nostalgic and current.

The album's title track, "Your Husband My Wife," is a catchy and upbeat tune that explores the complexities of modern relationships. The lyrics are clever and witty, and the melody is infectious.

Another standout track is "Upside Down Inside Out," which features a driving rhythm and anthemic chorus. The song is a call to action, urging listeners to live life to the fullest and embrace their true selves.

Miss him so bad
This is definitely not the version I listened to a million times. Inflections, etc totally different.
Heard this in 1969 on a small radio with an ear plug while on guard duty. Never heard it again until 2019 on utube. The DJ on the radio said it had been banned from the radio because of the content.
one of the greatest voices white man and blackish.
Man I miss this guy....:(
its very disappointing when you can't find the version you'r looking for
You may listen to this track and scratch your head and wonder why was this not a hit single for this group. and why this wasn't given just as much airtime on AM radio as their only Top 40 hit. because Johnny Maestro delivers the same amount of power and emotion in this track that he does in their big radio hit. and the chorus and bridge in this song is just as powerful and emotional as in the Worst That Could Happen. so why was this not a hit? well, I think it all comes down to the controversial subject matter that this song tackles. if you listen closely to the lyrics, it's pretty obvious that this song is about a extra marital affair between a married man and a married woman. they are deeply in love with each other but they also don't want to destroy their marriages so they have to figure out how are they going to handle their spouses knowing that their marriages are on the break of self destruction because of the deep love they have for their each other. as you can see, this is a very shitty horrible situation to be in but it could hit home to a lot of people who have been in this situation back then, and even today in 2016. VERY VERY taboo and way too risque for 1969. Almost as Risque as Cher's "You Better Sit Down Kids" which tackles the subject matter of a broken up family of a mom and dad divorcing and it being told from the perspective of a male from a female. It would not surprise me that this song was banned from 90% of the major AM radio stations in this country because of the subject matter in the lyrics, and this is the main reason why this record was not a hit. it had nothing to do with how well written the song was, but the subject matter that is laced within the lyrics of this song.
Fan from the fifties, loved the Crests as well as Brooklyn Bridge. When he passed away, I felt as though I had lost a very close friend. Still feeling the hurt when I listen to his voice.
See now... this ISN'T the version I had on 45, and played over and over, growing up. It's close, almost as if it was recorded at the same session, just another take with a slight rethink or something.
But the 'right' one IS here on Utube... for anyone wanting the other/'the real'/the truer' version it's posted by #JohnnyMaestroAndTheBrooklynBridge
What a voice Johnny, wish you were still with us
All his songs are awesome !!!!!
i always love this one
I remember going to the record counter and asking for this title because I couldn't remember the artist's name. I got the strangest look from the clerk, but she did find the 45 for me.
Love the song "Your husband my wife" but cannot find this album on a CD. The second Brooklyn bridge seems to be only on vinyl and why is this song only on one album?
Great song and such a strong voice.
Great song and voice ....
saw johnny lately skin peeled back teeth showing eyes hollow some bugs eating the left eyeball mold on remaining skin looks god in death
One is obligation, one is desire. Which can you live with? All desire becomes obligation eventually.
