Popular synthpop trio comprising keyboardists Steve Bronski (real name: Steven William Forrest) (Born: February 7, 1960. Died: December 9, 2021)
and Larry Steinbachek (real name: Lawrence Charles Anthony Cole) (Born: May 6, 1960. Died: December 16, 2016)
with countertenor vocalist Jimmy Somerville (Born: June 22, 1961).
Somerville left in 1985 to form and was replaced by John Jøn (real name: John Foster). Jøn left Bronski Beat in November 1986, and was later replaced by Jonathan Hellyer.
